There are few things more satisfying than having ridiculously talented singers perform your work. Below you will find three songs from our musical comedy _I Love You Because_; two from the original cast recording and one from Lauren Kennedy_s solo album _Here and Now_. Both albums are available on PS Classics.

Just Not Now
What Do We Do It For?

Goodbye

(Lauren Kennedy, Here and Now)
(Farah Alvin, Courtney Balan, Stephanie D_Abruzzo,
and Jordan Leeds, I Love You Because)
(Colin Hanlon, I Love You Because)

Queen Esther is a family musical comedy based on the story of Purim, that was commissioned by The Kaufman Center. As you can see the second song has one non-professional singer associated with it. It turns out that one of the things more satisfying than having ridiculously talented singers perform your work is performing your own work with a ridiculously botched Yiddish accent.

When I Am Queen
Milking the Cow

(Kate Wetherhead,Queen Esther)
(Ryan Cunningham and Kate Wetherhead, Queen Esther)

As we were in rehearsals for _I Love You Because_ we started writing songs about what happens after the _happily ever after_ depicted in the show. The more songs that came out, the more they seemed to be of the same piece, which we have developed into the song cycle, _Next Thing You Know._

Home Calls
And I Breathe
If She Were Coming Home

(Caitlyn Caughell,Next Thing You Know)
(Ryan Cunningham, Next Thing You Know)
(Michael Winther, Next Thing You Know)

We made our television debut with the wonderful children's television series _Johnny and the Sprites_ on the Disney channel. It was a lot of fun, and three more of our songs have already aired, and will be posted here soon. So stay tuned!

Stop and Listen
